In 2009, P.O. Harper returned to the Bureau of Community Policing where he continued his passion for youth engagement through the Law Enforcement Explorers program. This career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by working with local law enforcement agencies. In 2013, P.O. From April 2017 to April 2019, P.O. Harper was a full-time academy instructor and was responsible for instructing patrol officers during in-service and any other additional professional development training required by the division. In 2019, P.O. Harper returned to the Community Relations Unit, where he continues to work with the Explorers Program, community events and providing needs to businesses and citizens as well. During his spare time, he enjoys family time, sports and DJ’ing local community parties.

We are proud of P.O. Harper today and every day for his dedication to Cleveland residents.
