P.O. Pete Williams | May 2021 Member of the Month

PO Pete Williams is a 25-year veteran of the Cleveland Division of Police, and a longstanding member of the BSPA. Throughout his tenure with CPD, PO Williams has worked in the 5th and 6th police districts, at the Airport Unit, and has participated in the D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. programs. PO Williams has also served in the Division's Training Section, where he prepared and taught in-service training.


Currently, PO Williams is assigned to the City Hall Security Unit where he provides access and security for Mayor Frank Jackson and his staff, as well as executive officials of city government, global dignitaries, city employees, and patrons of City Hall.


Fun Fact: PO Williams is a United States Marine Corps veteran, who served in the Gulf War in Operation Desert Storm Desert Shield.


PO Pete Williams is recognized as the BSPA's Officer of the Month for May 2021 for his continued displays of patriotism in his performances of The National Anthem, Black National Anthem, and God Bless America at various ceremonies and programs throughout the Division and Black Shield.
