On Saturday June 29, the Black Shield participated in the annual art contest for Tamir Rice's 17th birthday. Local kids were asked to create works which expressed what "love" and "heartbreak" looks like in their neighborhoods.



We appreciated the opportunity to spend time with our community members creating artwork and learning to heal.
