The Black Shield Police Association

---

ree

The Cleveland Police Foundation and The Black Shield Police Association held a friendly game of basketball and dialogue called "Hoopin' for Justice."

Shield members were able to have candid conversations with local Cleveland youth with topics including: the state of young Black men, improving relationships with public safety, drugs and violence in the community, risk assessment, choosing role models and how to strive towards and measure success.

Black Shield members especially enjoyed bonding with students in a healthy and active way. Thank you to all involved, specifically 5th District Commander Sammy Morris and Angela Bennett from the Cleveland Police Foundation for her tireless work and uplift of our officers, community and youth.
